DTNA Online is a learning platform that runs cohort-based training courses for telecoms engineers.
DTN Academy believes that an online course where students mundanely click through a slideshow is no longer enough. For the optimal learning environment, it was vital to recreate the sense of accountability and community that's so effective in a classroom.
To solve this, we built a live video lecture experience built on top of Twilio's WebRTC APIs. Tutors now interact with students during the course to validate learning and run Q&A sessions - all from the comfort of home.
We worked with DTN Academy to design an online storefront for students to browse and purchase their courses. The store is SEO optimised and boasts powerful analytics for optimisation, increased sales, and upsell opportunities.
We used Stripe to manage payments, enabling fast checkouts to save time taking payments over the phone. No glitches, hassles or delays.
A headache for DTN is the ever-evolving compliance requirements set to them by Ofsted and network operators. To combat this, mmtm built a robust and version-controlled course management system to manage and curate course content.
Courses boast a swathe of content types: images, text, video, quizzes and documents. These courses are then presented back to the students in a slick, easy to use interface.

DTNA Online is now used by CityFibre, BT, Virgin Media and others as the UK moves into fifth-gear of it's fibre rollout.
We developed DTNA Online in four sprint cycles and swiftly implemented across the DTN Academy business.
